Arvind Kejriwal wrote a letter on Monday stating that he will neither appear nor present any arguments before Justice Swarnakanta Sharma of the Delhi High Court, as he believes he has no hope of receiving justice from the court.
Arvind Kejriwal said that he will also no longer appear before Justice Swarnakanta Sharma of the Delhi High Court.
In the excise policy case, Arvind Kejriwal has stated that no arguments will be presented on his behalf in the appeal filed by the Central Bureau of Investigation.
Arvind Kejriwal posted on X and said.
"In all humility and with complete respect for judiciary, I have written the following letter to Justice Swarna Kanta Sharma, informing her that pursuing Gandhian principles of Satyagraha, it won’t be possible for me to pursue this case in her court, either in person or through a counsel.
I have taken this difficult decision after coming to the clear conclusion that the proceedings being conducted in her court do not, in any manner, satisfy the fundamental principle that ‘justice must not only be done but must also be seen to be done’. My participation in these proceedings, either myself or through a counsel will not achieve anything meaningful."

Arvind Kejriwal alleged that the two children of Justice Swarnakanta Sharma work for the Government of India, and that Tushar Mehta assigned cases to them.
After the Delhi High Court rejected Arvind Kejriwal’s plea seeking the removal of Justice Swarnakanta Sharma from his case, Kejriwal took this step a few days later.
