There has been a conflict between Iran and the US for 40 days, but two days ago, a ceasefire was reached between the two countries. However, a new war seems to be brewing. On April 8, Israel carried out attacks in more than 100 areas in Lebanon within 1 minute, which has so far resulted in the deaths of over 300 people. Israel stated that its goal is to eliminate Hezbollah in Lebanon.
Lebanon had been requesting to talk to Israel for quite some time, so one day after the attacks, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu confirmed in a press release that Israel will now talk directly to Lebanon. However, it remains to be seen what the outcome of these direct talks will be, and the discussions will take place over multiple meetings between the two countries.
The main point of this dialogue is to disarm Hezbollah and establish peace between the two countries. Iran has criticized Israel’s attacks on Lebanon, saying that even during the ceasefire, it is wrong for Israel to attack Lebanon. On the other hand, Israel and the US say that Lebanon has no role in this ceasefire, and Lebanon has nothing to do with it.
Iran, the US, and Israel agreed to a ceasefire, but Israel carried out a heavy attack on Lebanon. Israel struck more than 100 targets across Lebanon in about 10 minutes, killing many people — with reports saying hundreds have died — and this could make it difficult for the ceasefire to continue for a long time. Iran has condemned this attack and said it is wrong for Israel to hit Lebanon.

U.S. President Donald Trump spoke with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and urged him to reduce the attacks on Lebanon because the U.S. and Iran are going to hold talks in Pakistan on April 11, and for that reason he asked that the strikes be scaled back—that's what the reports are saying.
You must have seen how much Israel listens to the U.S., because sometimes Israel does whatever it wants. But now Israel will not attack Lebanon because the two countries are going to hold talks.
