Raghav Chadha, a Rajya Sabha MP who left the Aam Aadmi Party and joined the Bharatiya Janata Party, shared a video explaining why he left AAP.

Raghav Chadha said that he is a Chartered Accountant and had a good career ahead of him, but he left it to enter politics.

Raghav Chadha said that he had nurtured the Aam Aadmi Party with his blood and sweat for 15 years, but later he was stopped from working and even prevented from speaking in Parliament. He added that today the party is in the hands of some corrupt people who are not working for the country but for their personal interests.

Raghav Chadha said that he had three options, and the first option was to quit politics altogether.

Raghav Chadha said that the second option he had was to try to fix things within the Aam Aadmi Party, but he was unable to do so.

Raghav Chadha said that the third option was to take his energy and experience to another party and continue doing positive politics. He added that he was not alone in leaving the Aam Aadmi Party, as six others also left the party with him.

Raghav Chadha said that six others also left the party with him, and when more than two-thirds of MPs leave a party, the Anti‑Defection Law does not apply.
