IPL 2026 Match No. 6: Today’s match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders was played at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. Sunrisers Hyderabad won the match by 65 runs.

With this defeat, KKR has now lost their second match as well. So far, they have played two matches and have not won a single game.

In this match, SRH set a target of 227 runs for KKR, but KKR failed to achieve it. The team was all out in 16 overs and could only score 161 runs.

SRH have played only two matches this season so far. They lost their first match to RCB by 6 wickets, but this was their second match against KKR, which they won. It can be said that the team is now getting back on track.

On the other hand, this was also KKR’s second match, but they have lost both games. They lost their first match to MI by 6 wickets, and now they have also been defeated by SRH. This is not a good sign for the team, as they are losing matches right from the start of the season.

SRH Batting:

SRH has the strongest batting lineup among all the teams in the IPL. Their squad includes players like Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma, Ishan Kishan (c), and Heinrich Klaasen. Even today, the team performed brilliantly and posted a strong total.

However, the remaining five players who came to bat couldn’t add much to the total. Ishan Kishan (c) scored 14 runs, Aniket Verma managed just 1 run, Salil Arora was dismissed for 0, Shivang Kumar scored 4 runs, and Harsh Dubey remained not out on 9 runs.

With the help of their top players, SRH posted a big total of 227 runs against KKR.

KKR Batting:

The entire KKR team was bowled out for just 161 runs. Only three players performed well for the team—Angkrish Raghuvanshi, Finn Allen, and Rinku Singh—while the rest of the players failed to make any significant contribution.
