On 15 May 2026, the Chief Justice (CJI) Surya Kant referred to fake degree holders and people entering law or journalism without qualifications as ‘cockroaches’
After this, there was a lot of criticism on social media. People said that this was an insult to Gen-Z and unemployed youth. In response, campaigns like “Main Bhi Cockroach” (I am also a cockroach) and “Proud Cockroach” started.
After this, a party was formed based on this movement.
The party was founded on 16 May 2026 by Abhijeet Dipke.
Abhijeet Dipke is currently studying in the United States at Boston University. He is around 30 years old.
Before this, he had worked for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). He was a social media strategist and volunteer in AAP.
This party is currently very popular on Instagram in India. It has reached the top position among parties, and at present it has around 10.2 million followers on Instagram.

The main tagline of this party is: “Voice of the Lazy & Unemployed.”
Slogan: “Secular, Socialist, Democratic, and Lazy.”
The party has chosen the “Smartphone” as its election symbol.
1: This party has a manifesto, and one of its top points is keeping checks on judges (“restraining judges”). This issue is being widely discussed recently after comments attributed to the Supreme Court and Justice Surya Kant made a few days ago.
2: The party’s second manifesto point is about accountability of the Election Commission. It states that if a real citizen’s name is removed from the voter list, then the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) will be sent to jail under the UAPA law.
3:There should be 50% reservation for women in Parliament, and 50% of seats in the country’s Central Council of Ministers (Cabinet) should be fixed for women.
4:There should be a ban on “Godi Media” in the country.
5: After winning elections, every elected party starts moving leaders to other parties. There should be restrictions or a ban on this practice (party switching/defection).
6: In exams like NEET, if there is a paper leak, students should be given relief, and the students should not suffer the consequences of institutional mistakes or system failures.
7:The party does not accept secret or anonymous donations (no secret funding).
In India, the movement is reportedly receiving support from some senior leaders such as Mahua Moitra (TMC MP), Kirti Azad (former cricketer and TMC leader), Prashant Bhushan, and Anjali Bhardwaj.
