Donald Trump made a statement that created global tension. He said that the US was planning to carry out an attack on Iran on Tuesday, but the strike has now been postponed at the request of Gulf countries.

Donald Trump provided more details on the matter and said that the leaders of Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates requested that the attack be stopped.

Because talks are currently ongoing between the US and Iran, and if the US carries out an attack on Iran, the negotiations will not succeed. That is why the process could collapse completely.

Donald Trump wrote on the social media platform Truth Social.

I have been asked by the Emir of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, and the President of the United Arab Emirates, Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to hold off on our planned Military attack of the Islamic Republic of Iran, which was scheduled for tomorrow, in that serious negotiations are now taking place, and that, in their opinion, as Great Leaders and Allies, a Deal will be made, which will be very acceptable to the United States of America, as well as all Countries in the Middle East, and beyond. This Deal will include, importantly, NO NUCLEAR WEAPONS FOR IRAN! Based on my respect for the above mentioned Leaders, I have instructed Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, The Chairman of The Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Daniel Caine, and The United States Military, that we will NOT be doing the scheduled attack of Iran tomorrow, but have further instructed them to be prepared to go forward with a full, large scale assault of Iran, on a moment’s notice, in the event that an acceptable Deal is not reached. Thank you for your attention to this matter!

According to several reports, Donald Trump’s popularity is declining day by day, and this statement has come at this time.

Reports are also saying that many people in the US are not happy with this Iran war, and public opinion appears to be against it.

According to reports, including the New York Times/Siena poll released on Monday, 64% of voters believe that going to war with Iran was not the right decision.

Earlier reports have also shown a significant decline in Donald Trump’s popularity.

These reports have become a source of tension for the Republican Party ahead of the midterm elections.

What did Iran say about this?

After Donald Trump’s statement, a reaction has come from Iran. Iran said that its armed forces are now more prepared and stronger than before. This statement was made by Major General Ali Abdollahi, Commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters.

According to Iran’s official news agency, Major General Ali Abdollahi said that Iran’s armed forces are always prepared and will respond strongly and on a large scale to any enemy aggression.”

This statement is being seen in the context of Donald Trump’s remarks about a possible attack on Tuesday.

Mohsen Rezaei, a former commander of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard, said in a statement that Donald Trump sets war dates on his own and then cancels them on his own.

Mohsen Rezaei wrote about this on the social media platform X:

It sets a deadline for a military strike and then cancels it itself! With this vain hope of making the Iranian nation and officials surrender!

The iron fist of the powerful armed forces and the great Iranian nation will force them to retreat and surrender.
