KKR Stages Strong Comeback as SRH Winning Streak Ends

M atch No. 45 of IPL 2025 was played between SRH and KKR at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Uppal, Hyderabad, where SRH lost by 7 wickets. SRH set a target of 166 runs for KKR after batting first, and KKR chased it down in just 18.2 overs to win the match.

SRH was on a five-match winning streak, but KKR put an end to their run, while KKR also secured their third consecutive victory.

SRH has played a total of 10 matches so far this season, in which they have won 6 matches (against KKR, RR, CSK, DC, RR, and MI) and lost 4 matches (against RCB, LSG, Punjab Kings, and KKR).

KKR has played 9 matches in this season so far, in which they have won only their last 3 matches (against RR, LSG, and SRH), while they have lost 5 matches (against MI, SRH, LSG, CSK, and GT), and 1 match against the Punjab Kings was washed out due to rain with no result.

Sunrisers Hyderabad Batting:

In this match, SRH, which is known for strong performances, could not deliver as the team was all out for just 165 runs, with only two players making a good contribution to the team’s score.

In this match, the best batting performance for the team came from Travis Head, who scored 61 runs off 28 balls, including 9 fours and 3 sixes, and Ishan Kishan, who scored 42 runs off 29 balls, including 4 fours and 2 sixes.

KKR, after losing their first 6 matches, made a strong comeback by winning 3 consecutive games. In today’s match, good batting was seen from KKR, with the highest score coming from Angkrish Raghuvanshi, who scored 59 runs off 47 balls, including 5 fours and 2 sixes, followed by captain Ajinkya Rahane, who scored 43 runs off 36 balls, including 4 fours and 1 six.
