Bigg Boss 20’s had its moments this season, but nothing quite like this. Two days. That’s how long it took for new wildcard Nakul Dhull to end up at the center of the show’s biggest blowup yet.
It started after a nomination task wrapped up. Nakul went after Qazi Touqeer, accusing him of spitting in ScoutOP’s ear during what was supposed to be a joke, and of talking about Scout behind his back. Scout, Yung and Nakul then walked outside to confront Qazi directly about it.

That’s when it got messy. Gullu, real name Kushal Tanwar, jumped into the argument and said something that apparently pushed Nakul over the edge. He moved toward Gullu, grabbed his collar, and from there it turned into an actual fight. Gullu fought back. Other housemates tried stepping in to break it up, but by then it had already gotten out of hand.
Mahhi Vij, also a contestant this season, had one of the bigger reactions. She was shouting at Nakul, asking over and over why he’d hit Gullu and whether that had been the plan all along. “You cannot hit my friend?” she reportedly said, clearly furious, demanding Bigg Boss remove him from the house right then.Mahhi Vij, also a contestant this season, had one of the bigger reactions. Her comment, basically suggesting Nakul had been waiting for an excuse to go after Gullu, added fuel to a theory that was already spreading online, that he might’ve entered the show with Gullu specifically in his sights, not just lost his temper randomly.
Here’s where it gets confusing. A bunch of social media accounts and a few entertainment sites reported he’d already been evicted right after the fight. One widely shared post said it happened immediately. But as of now, neither Nakul nor the Bigg Boss 20 team has said anything official about it.

There’s a promo out for the October 14 episode where Bigg Boss tells the house “a major law has been broken,” which a lot of fans are reading as a reference to the fight, though it doesn’t actually confirm an eviction either way. Same promo also teases a separate fight between Aasif Khan and Love Gill, so Wednesday’s episode sounds like it’s got more than one thing going on.
This didn’t stay inside the house. Gullu’s team put out a statement saying Nakul came in with a premeditated plan to confront him, calling for his immediate eviction and describing the whole thing as “absolutely unacceptable.”
Elvish Yadav, the YouTuber and former Bigg Boss OTT winner, jumped in too, posting something sarcastic in support of Gullu once the episode aired. Just added to the pile of reactions from fans and influencers that came in right after.
Worth mentioning, this wasn’t Nakul’s first bit of trouble since joining. He’d already caught backlash for past comments, and reportedly made housemate Aman Gandhi uncomfortable with a joke just the day before all this happened with Gullu. Gives some context for why people reacted as hard as they did.
All eyes are on Wednesday’s episode now, which should finally clear up whether the makers are actually taking action against Nakul. Bigg Boss 20 airs daily on JioHotstar at 9 p.m., and given how fast this has blown up online, Wednesday’s probably pulling in a bigger-than-usual crowd just looking for a straight answer.
