Victoria's Secret Fashion Show returned to the city of Los Angeles, California, on Sunday, October 18, 2026, with a star-filled event that featured sisters Gigi and Bella Hadid as well as live performances along with the reappearance of the Fantasy Bra.
Kylie Jenner stunned everyone with her surprise appearance in a $50 million diamond bra, which is the most expensive piece ever created for the brand. The show was aired live on Victoria's Secret YouTube channel and its social media pages.
As reported in W Magazine, the Victoria's Secret show returned to Los Angeles after 19 years. Adam Selman, who is the creative director at the brand, had noted before the show that it fit well the "city of angels."
Following the 2024 relaunch of the brand and last year's show in New York, this year's Victoria's Secret fashion show can be considered the third annual one from the revived series.
This year's main highlight, however, has been the coming back of the Fantasy Bra, which had not made its appearance in eight years. The bra has been produced in collaboration with the luxury jewelry company Jacob & Co.
And the current design of this bra is encrusted with 4,410 natural diamonds, which weigh 1,373.39 carats in total. The center piece is a 75.54-carat natural fancy vivid yellow diamond that Vogue says has been valued at $22 million.
The overall worth of the fantasy bra is estimated at $50 million, thus making it the most expensive fantasy bra yet to be designed. Before this Fantasy Bra, the one worn by Gisele Bündchen in 2000, valued at $15 million, was considered to be the most expensive one.
Jenner, 29, wore the Fantasy Bra along with a pair of feather wings and a white skirt. She has been accompanied by her boyfriend, Timothée Chalamet, and her mother, Kris Jenner.
This year's line-up included both current stars and those who returned for the show:
- Starting: The opening model was Bella Hadid, and then Gigi Hadid came with her paillette wings.
- Returning models: Returning models to the show were Rosie Huntington-Whiteley after 16 years and Elsa Hosk after almost 10 years.
- Veterans and regulars: Candice Swanepoel, Precious Lee, and Alessandra Ambrosio, who turned 20 at this show, also walked down the ramp.
- New faces: Alex Consani and Liu Wen were new additions to the show after their busy fashion month.
The fashion show also featured a casting call competition where the winner would get a contract with IMG Models and a place on the runway. "Angels Among Us" is a YouTube documentary series about aspiring models ahead of the show.
The performance received criticism from viewers regarding the positioning of both performers. People complained about KATSEYE and Megan Moroney blocking the models.
According to one user on X, Megan Moroney almost fell off a model from the runway; however, this claim could not be verified independently.
There has also been a lot of chatter around the absence of Kendall Jenner from the line-up of models.
The event is in line with efforts by Victoria's Secret & Co., led by CEO Hillary Super, to restore its brand image.
The firm has recorded net sales growth of 10.4% in the second quarter of fiscal 2026, which was released on September 3.
Analysts have been considering whether the event can help increase the demand for the brand.
Its stock is currently trading as VSXY. In addition, the firm has been recruiting board members such as Gerri Martin-Flickinger.
The fashion show was canceled in 2019 due to falling viewership and complaints about a lack of body diversity and inclusivity.
The rebranded show is meant to bring back the glamour of the first shows but using models from diverse backgrounds.
This year's lineup, featuring Precious Lee and Liu Wen, is part of this effort, together with the Fantasy Bra and supermodels who were making a comeback.
The brand plans to roll out more content from the show over the next few days alongside products related to the show.
