Nitish Kumar resignation from the chief minister's post:

Today, the outgoing Chief Minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar, went to Raj Bhavan in Patna and submitted his resignation to the Governor. With this, more than 20 years of his leadership in Bihar came to an end.

Before resigning, he wrote an emotional letter to the people of Bihar, saying that he had worked extensively for the state and served the people. He added that he had already decided to step down from the post of Chief Minister. Therefore, after the cabinet meeting today, he met the governor and submitted his resignation.
