V. D. Satheesan took the oath of office on May 18, and two days later, the cabinet in Kerala was expanded. All ministers have now been assigned their respective departments (portfolios).
V. D. Satheesan, affiliated with the Indian National Congress, holds the portfolios of Finance, Law, Ports, General Administration, and Planning & Economic Affairs in his capacity as the Chief Minister of Kerala.
Ramesh Chennithala of the Indian National Congress has been entrusted with the charge of Home Affairs, Vigilance, Prisons, and Fire & Rescue Services.
P. K. Kunhalikutty of the Indian Union Muslim League has been assigned the departments of Industries, IT, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Startups, and Mining.
K. Muraleedharan of the Indian National Congress has been entrusted with the departments of Health, Devaswom, Medical Education, and Food Safety.
A. P. Anil Kumar of the Indian National Congress has been assigned the departments of Land & Revenue, Survey, and Land Reforms.
Sunny Joseph of the Indian National Congress has been given charge of Electricity and Parliamentary Affairs.
N. Samsudheen of the Indian Union Muslim League has been entrusted with the departments of General Education, Minority Welfare, and Haj & Waqf.
Roji M. John of the Indian National Congress has been assigned the departments of Higher Education and Collegiate Education.
P. C. Vishnunadh of the Indian National Congress has been entrusted with the departments of Tourism, Culture, and Cinema.
T. Siddique of the Indian National Congress has been assigned the Department of Agriculture.
M. Liju of the Indian National Congress has been entrusted with the departments of Cooperation and Excise.
Bindu Krishna of the Indian National Congress has been assigned the departments of Labour, and Women & Child Welfare.
K. A. Thulasi of the Indian National Congress has been entrusted with the departments of SC/ST Development and Welfare of Backward Communities.
O. J. Janeesh of the Indian National Congress has been assigned the departments of Youth Welfare and Sports.
K. M. Shaji of the Indian Union Muslim League has been entrusted with the departments of Local Self-Government, Panchayats, and Rural Development.
P. K. Basheer of the Indian Union Muslim League has been assigned the Public Works Department (PWD). V. E. Abdul Gafoor of the Indian Union Muslim League has been entrusted with the Departments of Fisheries, Port Engineering, and Social Justice. Mons Joseph of the Kerala Congress has been entrusted with the Department of Water Resources and Irrigation.
Anoop Jacob of the Kerala Congress (Jacob) has been entrusted with the Departments of Food and Civil Supplies, Consumer Affairs, and Legal Metrology.
Shibu Baby John of the Revolutionary Socialist Party has been entrusted with the Department of Forests and Wildlife Conservation.
C. P. John of the Communist Marxist Party has been entrusted with the Departments of Road Transport, Motor Vehicles, and Water Transport.
