In IPL 2026, the match between Rajasthan Royals and Mumbai Indians was affected by rain, which delayed the toss and the start of the game.

Mumbai Indians won the toss and chose to bowl first. Batting first, Rajasthan Royals put up a strong total of 150 runs in a reduced 11-over match. Despite the shortened format, RR managed to set a challenging target, which ultimately helped them secure the win.

Mumbai Indians failed to chase the target of 150 runs, managing only 129 runs for the loss of 9 wickets. As a result, the Rajasthan Royals secured an impressive victory.

So far, both the Mumbai Indians and the Rajasthan Royals have played three matches each. However, the Mumbai Indians have managed to win only one match—by 6 wickets against the Kolkata Knight Riders. They lost their remaining two matches against the Delhi Capitals and the Rajasthan Royals.

This is not a good sign for the team, as a string of consecutive defeats could take a toll on their confidence. It will be crucial to see how the team stages a comeback in the upcoming matches.

Rajasthan Royals have played three matches in this IPL season and have won all three.

They won their first match against Chennai Super Kings by 8 wickets. In the second match, they defeated the Gujarat Titans by 6 runs. In today’s match, they secured a 27-run victory.

This winning streak is a very positive sign for the team. Continuous victories help build players’ confidence, and if they maintain this momentum, the team is likely to deliver strong performances in the upcoming matches as well.
