here are increasing tensions between Russia and Ukraine due to fears from Ukrainian officials regarding a possible escalation of attacks by Moscow during the war that has been going on for many years despite the efforts of the parties to find a peaceful settlement to the dispute.

The future of the war remains unclear. In order to decrease the intensity of the war, some successful negotiations will be required, but now there are many differences that do not allow negotiating a comprehensive deal.
For Ukraine, it is important to get some support from other countries in order to defend itself and to stabilize the economy. For Russia, further military actions could be used as a means to prepare for future negotiations.
