Summary
  • Savannah Chrisley announced Tuesday, October 27, that she is pregnant and engaged.
  • Her fiancé is identified in reports as Jason Galanis, 56, who is 27 years older than she is. President Trump commuted his federal fraud sentence in 2025.
  • On her podcast she said she hid the relationship because the public can be brutal, and that she doesn't care what anyone thinks.

Savannah Chrisley is 29. Her fiancé is 56. She's pregnant, and she'd like people to skip the lecture.

She made the announcement Tuesday on her "Unlocked" podcast and in an Instagram video, both at once. Reports name the man as Jason Galanis. The age gap is 27 years, and Chrisley was the one who brought it up first.

"Yes, there is a huge age gap there, OK?"

That's how she opened the subject on the podcast. She said it was a big reason she kept the relationship quiet for so long, since she knows how the public gets. After that she didn't apologize for it.

Her argument is pretty simple. Twenty great years beat fifty mediocre ones. She and Jason work together, make plans together, and she never feels like she needs to get away from him. People reported she also said he doesn't look or act his age. The age difference itself got a shrug.

The Instagram post had a different tone. It's a video of pregnancy photos and ultrasound pictures, with a long caption about the last few years, which she described as full of heartbreak and loss. She wrote that she wondered if she'd ever feel safe again. Jason showed up in the middle of that, she said. She calls him her protector and her safe place, and says he hasn't missed a single doctor's appointment.

She also wrote a few lines for women who feel like they're still stuck in a waiting season, telling them not to read God's silence as absence. It's the kind of post that tends to travel fast online, and this one landed alongside a name that sent people straight to search engines.

No word on whether it's a boy or a girl. No due date either.

About Galanis

He's a businessman, and his record is public. A federal court sentenced him in September 2020 to 189 months for multiple securities fraud schemes. Trump commuted the sentence in March 2025.

People says Galanis worked with Hunter Biden and Biden's business associate Devon Archer. He also testified in the 2024 impeachment inquiry into then-President Joe Biden while he was still in prison, per the same report. E! News adds that he served time in the same facility as Chrisley's father, Todd.

Todd and Julie Chrisley were convicted of bank and tax fraud and pardoned by Trump in May 2025. Savannah spent those years as legal guardian to her younger siblings, Grayson and Chloe, and campaigned for Trump in 2024, largely over the push to get her parents out.

She kept Galanis' face out of the Instagram video. His name came out afterward through People and other outlets. Nobody has said publicly how the two met.

How fast it went

July 2025, they started dating. December, he proposed on a trip to the Cayman Islands, People reports.

On the podcast Chrisley described the moment. Before opening the ring box, Galanis told her it could be an engagement ring, a promise ring, a cocktail ring, whatever she wanted. She says he put no pressure on her to treat it as a proposal. She admits it all moved quickly. Timing means nothing, she argued.

It isn't her first engagement. She was engaged to hockey player Nic Kerdiles in 2018, and they split about two years later. Then came Robert Shiver, whom she dated from September 2023 until 2025.

Back in August 2025, TV Insider covered an episode of "Unlocked" where she said she wanted kids sooner rather than later, because she didn't want to be raising them in her thirties. She also said she wouldn't marry anyone just because she was pregnant.

Her dad isn't sold

In June, Chrisley told Jana Kramer's "Whine Down" podcast that Todd isn't very fond of the age gap.

She has an answer for that too. Age-gap couples are everywhere right now, she said, and this is the healthiest relationship she's ever had. She doesn't have to manage a younger guy's insecurity. Jason isn't threatened by her success, and she says he earns more than she does, which she likes. She's tired of hearing that women should tone it down to keep a partner comfortable. Plenty of women in her position are the main earner at home now, she pointed out, and she isn't dimming anything for anybody.

No wedding date has been announced. Fox News Digital reached out to Chrisley's reps for comment.
