We bow to and accept the verdict of the people. Congratulations to those who have won!

Over the past five years, we created numerous schemes and provided good governance to the people of Tamil Nadu. We elevated Tamil Nadu in every possible way. During the election campaign, we sought votes by highlighting our achievements.

We campaigned by asking for votes to ensure the continuation of welfare schemes provided to the people.

I extend my heartfelt gratitude to all the people of Tamil Nadu who voted in support of the secular progressive alliance led by the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam.

I governed not only for those who voted for me, but also for those who did not vote.

I remained true to all people. I acted according to my conscience.

I worked beyond my capacity. I also express my heartfelt thanks to the beloved comrades of my leader Kalaignar, who worked in the field just like me and are part of my soul.

I thank all allied party leaders, administrators, and workers who stood shoulder to shoulder with us.

In my political public life, I have seen both great victories and defeats.

Therefore, I believe that ideology and principles are more important than victory or defeat.

Hence, the political journey of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam will continue without interruption.

From now on, the DMK, which has functioned as a successful ruling party for the people, will function as a strong opposition party.
