ceasefire is currently in place between Israel and Lebanon, but Hezbollah does not fully accept the ceasefire. Meanwhile, Israel is carrying out drone attacks, and both sides are responding to each other.
The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that he has ordered the Israeli army to carry out strong attacks on Hezbollah positions.
This decision was taken on Saturday after several drones and rockets were intercepted.
These attacks are taking place even though a three-month ceasefire is in place between Israel and Lebanon, which was supported by U.S. President Donald Trump.

Benjamin Netanyahu said that Israel has full freedom to attack what it sees as emerging threats from Hezbollah.
Lebanon’s health department reported that 6 people were killed in Israeli strikes on Saturday. It said that 4 people were killed in an attack in the town of Yahmar al-Shaqif, while 2 others died in Safad al-Batikh.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said in a statement that more than 15 militants have been killed in southern Lebanon this week.
The ongoing fighting between Israel and Hezbollah could put the already fragile ceasefire at risk. It is also unclear whether, amid these attacks, Donald Trump, Benjamin Netanyahu, and Lebanese President Joseph Aoun will be able to meet at the White House.
