fter securing a majority in the Kerala elections, the Indian National Congress is holding meetings in New Delhi to decide who will be the next chief minister of the state. However, the final decision will be taken by Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi.
The Indian National Congress has three senior leaders in Kerala, and a final decision on them is still pending.
These are the leaders being discussed within the Indian National Congress over who could become the next Chief Minister of Kerala: V. D. Satheesan, K. C. Venugopal, Ramesh Chennithala, Shashi Tharoor, and K. Sudhakaran.
The Indian National Congress held a meeting in New Delhi on Saturday regarding the issue. Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge were present at the meeting.
After the meeting, Deepa Dasmunsi said that a decision on the chief minister will be made very soon.
The last date to form the government in Kerala is May 23, and the government must be formed before that.
The three parties in the United Democratic Front each want a leader from their own party to become the chief minister.
This has created a challenge for the Indian National Congress over whom to project as the chief minister, and it remains to be seen who will become the next CM.

Among them, the Indian National Congress (INC) is the largest party with 63 seats.
The Indian National Congress, Communist Party of India (Marxist), and Kerala Congress all want their own leaders to become the chief minister.
All the MLAs of the Indian National Congress signed a resolution authorizing the party leadership to decide on the chief minister. This makes it clear that the final decision on the CM will ultimately be taken by Rahul Gandhi.
