nother sad news is coming from the house of Samajwadi Party chief and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Wednesday, as his brother Prateek Yadav has passed away.
He was taken to the hospital around 7:00 a.m., and by 7:30 a.m. the doctors confirmed that he had already passed away.
The post-mortem of the body is currently underway. Akhilesh Yadav, the Samajwadi Party chief and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, is also present there and is in conversation with doctors.
Prateek Yadav’s wife, who is in the BJP, was in Assam yesterday, but after receiving the news she is returning to Lucknow from Assam.
According to reports so far, close family members have said that he was brought to Lucknow’s Civil Hospital after his health suddenly deteriorated.
Prateek Yadav was the son of Mulayam Singh Yadav’s second wife, Sadhna Gupta, who passed away in 2022.
Prateek Yadav’s wife, Aparna Yadav, is a BJP leader and is currently the Vice President of the State Women’s Commission.
If old videos and images are seen, Prateek Yadav appears to have been a fitness enthusiast.
At present, he was working as a businessman and had stayed away from politics.
The post-mortem of Prateek Yadav’s body is currently underway at KGMU, and his brother Akhilesh Yadav is present there.
The Samajwadi Party (SP) wrote on its official X handle while paying tribute to him.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath wrote on the X platform.
